Blake Johnson, Director of services

Blake Johnson serves as the Director of Services at Damascus Rehabilitation Center for Men, bringing a powerful combination of lived experience and unwavering dedication to his hole. Sobriety and healing are not linear- Blake's journey to sobriety was not a straight path. He spent years caught in the cycle of addiction, incarceration, and various treatment attempts; Blake reached his breaking point. At his lowest, he realized that true change could only come through lasting sobriety. He realized to rebuild his life, he needed a program that offered more than temporary relief - it needed to offer transformation. It was then that he found Damascus. 

Surrounded by a highly structured environment, firm accountability, a strong network of sober support, and a clear focus on working the 12-steps of Alcoholics Anonymous, Blake finally found the foundation he needed to heal. As he grew in his recovery, he began sponsoring other and discovered a passion for helping men that were walking a similar path that he once walked. He experience at Damascus did more that helped him get sober, it lit a fire in him to give back, to serve, and to lead. 

Today, as Director of Services, Blake brings that same energy and empathy into every aspect of his role. he is deeply involved in shaping the program structure, mentoring participants, and ensuring that the culture of Damascus remains rooted in integrity, recovery, and personal accountability. his leadership is fueled by a simple but powerful belief: that no man is too far gone. Regardless of his past, his mistake, or the path he has walked, every man deserves the chance to reclaim his future. Blake's story is more th an one of recovery - it is a testament to resilience, and he uses it daily to inspire other toward lasting freedom from addiction.
